Bale wrap collecting systems

Why collect bale wrap films after usage?

Recycling agricultural bale wrap – a key to circular farming

Triowrap films are made from 100% recyclable polyethylene (PE) and should be sorted as plastic fraction 4 after use. Recycling used film helps conserve resources and supports circular use of plastics — turning old film into new. All bale wrap, mantle films, and packaging should be sorted according to local recycling guidelines. Check the pictogram on the packaging for correct sorting.

What are National Collecting Schemes (NCS)?

As agricultural plastic is supposed to be returned at the end of its life, it is essential that the return is made as easy as possible for the farmers and collecting systems are established in their regions.

As agricultural plastic is supposed to be returned at the end of its life, it is essential that the return is made as easy as possible for the farmers and collecting systems are established in their regions. That’s why we actively support National Collecting Schemes and similar initiatives in all markets where Triowrap products are sold. As part of this, we are a founding member of APE Europe, a non-profit industry association promoting collection schemes across Europe.

Below is a list of established systems. If your country is not listed, please contact your local dealer. In several additional countries, initiatives to develop collection and recycling systems are already underway. To learn more about APE Europe’s work, please visit please visit APE Europe.
